Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa has been making the headlines for all the right reasons. From the show going through a 5-year leap to makers introducing new actors, the show is currently the talk of the town. Television actress Aurra Bhatnagar, who essays the role of a grown-up Choti Anu aka Aadhya, left the viewers heartbroken with her impactful performance in the latest episode of the show. 

It was seen that Aadhya, Anuj and Shruti reach Yashpal’s restaurant, where Anu is working, to celebrate the former’s win in a sports event. While talking to her friends, Aadhya becomes shocked seeing Anu in front of her. She rushes towards Anuj and asks him to take her back home. Upon reaching at home, Aadhya locks herself in the room and has a mental breakdown. Bhatnagar’s performance in the scene is being lauded by the netizens as they are praying the emotional turmoil Choti is going through ends soon. Sharing screenshots of the heartbreaking scene, fans have expressed their sadness. Many even stated that as the show progresses further, the makers should focus more on Anu’s personal growth as a career woman and show how she can co-parent Choti with Anuj instead of them reuniting again. Talking about the post-leap arch of the show, it was seen that Anupamaa was living alone at her house after her separation from Anuj. She creates an online persona Joshiben, who cooks traditional Indian food. Devika brings her out of the darkness and gives her the opportunity to go to America. On the other hand, Vanraj gets rich after working his job and promises to live his life raising Samar’s son Ansh. While Toshu and Kinjal don’t return to India after the accident, Pakhi leaves Adhik and stays in Delhi with her daughter.
